Who knew that John comes from a long line of John Tidds! Also gratifying to see that there actually is a Cy of sorts in the Tidd line. Very cool stuff!

What's interesting to me is that our forefathers were less rushed to have children. Most are in their low to mid 30s. Then Ellsworth comes along and sets a new standard, 24 when Dad was born.

Saw your blog by accident. I found information on Ellsworth Tidd in the LDS History Catalog. Just doing a random check for a presentation I am working on. I recently wrote a story about the Amos Tidd family of Holliston. We are distant cousins.
